Pilot #2
Journeyman - Note to frequent time travellers: the iPhone DON’T FUCKING WORK in the past, so think about it before buying it. I heard T-Mobile have a good roaming fee that works from the roman empire to the american civil war.
By the way: Journeyman is like a ripoff of the good old Quantum Leap, albeit without the lulz. A journalist starts to go back in time and finds his actions in the past modify the present. But time traveling it’s a misterious process: he don’t seem to control it and he disappears for days every time he jumps. His wife and his brother are worried about him. In the past he finds out he is tied to some people. Basically, like in Leap he needs to “set right what once went wrong”.
It isn’t clear where the story will go from there. I fear the love triangle (in the past the main character finds an old lover killed in a plane crash).
However time travel is fun, it just need to be done the right way, with a bunch of time paradoxes and a mad scientists as a comedic relief (ok, not necessarily).
The Final Verdict: Give the guy time to explain himself, let’s see if he got something in his sleeves
